Infared Scans

No Critical Equipment Assessment Program is complete without an Infrared Inspection.

By using sophisticated thermal imaging systems we are able to locate, identify and repair potential sources of down time that are invisible to the human eye. Undetected these areas of increased heating can cause electrical and/or mechanical equipment to fail, shutting down critical equipment such as Power Distribution Units (PDU's), Chilled water pump, chillers, cooling tower and Automatic Transfer Switches, to name a few.

Pictured Above: UPS output filter assembly - common bus connection is over 250°F. Undetected could result in output filter failure and possible UPS dropping off line.

Pictured Above: Fuse in UPS - cracked fuse undetected by visual inspection - over 500°F. Left uncorrected the fuse will fail resulting in UPS failure.
